You asked, we answer

We believe in open communication and addressing your concerns directly. Here are answers to the most common questions our colleagues have about our work council goals and candidates.

Frequently asked questions

We're dedicated to clear communication and transparency. Below you'll find answers to key questions about our committee, our promises, and how we plan to achieve them. Your voice is important to us.

How will you actually change "the rate"?

We aren't promising to delete metrics, but we will negotiate for "human rates." This means audits to ensure targets are realistic, safe, and include fair recovery time.

Is this list only for certain departments or nationalities?

No. With Osama (Arabic support), Sindy (social support), and Khawla, we represent every corner of LEJ5. We are one team for all associates.

Can a manager represent me?

Yes. Having managers means we have "inside" knowledge of how decisions are made. He brings a standard of fairness that holds leadership accountable from the top down.

What does "social support" actually mean?

It means Sindy helps you with the hard stuff outside work: finding a doctor, housing, or dealing with the Ausländerbehörde. If you are stressed at home, you can't be happy at work. We support the whole person.

How will you turn promises into action?

We don’t just talk; we negotiate. Our committee combines veteran council experience with management insight to ensure our demands for fairer shifts and safer rates are legally sound and impossible to ignore.

Is this committee for everyone at LEJ5?

Absolutely. We are a multicultural team. Whether you need support in German, Arabic, or English, or need help as a colleague with disabilities, our door is open. No one is left behind.

What makes your social support unique?

Most committees stop at the warehouse gates. We don't. We provide active help with "outside" life—from housing and doctors to government paperwork—because your well-being doesn't end when you clock out.

How will you keep us informed?

Transparency is our rule. We commit to regular, clear updates so you always know what we are fighting for and where the negotiations stand. No more "closed-door" secrets.

The goal of your voice: building trust and power

By opening this channel for your questions and feedback, our committee aims to achieve three key goals: real-time solutions, true representation, and full transparency. Your feedback isn’t just a comment—it is the fuel for our "Gerechtigkeit und Respekt" mission. Together, we shape the future of LEJ5.
